Dan & Nicole’s winter wonderland engagement session | New Bern wedding photographer
Posted on February 19, 2010
We recently met Dan & Nicole at the New Bern Bridal Expo. We’re excited to be photographing their wedding on June 4th at the Carolina Colours Pavilion in New Bern! On Saturday morning after all that lovely snow had fallen, Nicole called me up, excited about the idea of doing her engagement session with the pretty white landscape. So we trekked our way through the blizzard to get some amazing shots. We couldn’t wait to get these up on the blog. Believe it or not, these were taken right here in Havelock at the city park!
Victor got this cute shot - look at the genuine smiles!

Crystal Coast Wedding Salon and the After Party at the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium! | Eastern NC wedding photographer
Posted on January 11, 2010
I think the Crystal Coast Wedding Salon at the Atlantic Beach Sheraton this past Saturday was by far the best way to kick off 2010. We spent the last couple of weeks creating our display in preparation for the Salon and other bridal shows we’re participating in this month. The Crystal Coast Wedding Salon is put on by Eric Hause of Crystal Coast Bride. We had a great time meeting brides and grooms and moms and dads at the Salon and photographing them all day long and into the night at the After Party held at the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium. Here is our photo recap of the day!

Meeting bride Chelsea with her mom and maid of honor. We’re very excited to be photographing Chelsea’s wedding on June 5th at the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium!

Alex & Brett’s - love love love their cakes!

Bridal By the Sea - as always, Rachel Munro and her staff present stunning designs!

La Fete - love the contrasty colors. Lots of drama and flair, which is right up my alley!

The Sheraton Atlantic Beach had a bright and beautiful display.

Brides and their guests chat with vendors and enjoy the yummy food…

The violinists were wonderful.

The florists of course had exquisite displays…
Here’s a dramatic centerpiece by Designs by Ernest.

And The English Rose did a gorgeous job on their Salon space…

After the Salon, it was on to the After Party at the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium with dinner (catered by Floyd’s 1921)

We caught up with bride Chelsea along with her parents and maid of honor Emily at the After Party and got photos of them throughout the night!

Eric Hause of Crystal Coast Bride acts as emcee during the contests for door prizes.

And the brides and grooms were in it to win it!

The After Party was a great end to a wonderful wedding-filled day.
