Remember when you were a little girl and you played with your Bridal Barbie? Perfect blonde hair, pretty blue eyes, tan skin and a gorgeously gorgeous dress? This weekend Victor and I joined Greg and Hope for their Emerald Isle nuptials at the Emerald Isle Baptist Church with a reception that followed at the Lands End clubhouse. You couldn’t ask to spend the day with two nicer people, or a more gorgeous couple. The sweet ceremony led to a fun beachside reception with live band and all. Check out some of our favorites from their wedding and day after session.

Hope’s bridal shoes were a Christmas gift from her sister Michelle. :)

The girls thought it would be best to relax with some wine before the wedding.

In the next series of images, Hope receives her “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” as gifts from her family. Her “something old” is her late grandmother’s engagement ring. Notice dad’s teary eyes.

Hope was VERY pleased with dad’s gift of “something new”…

Vince & Samantha hosted their wedding at the Country Club of the Crystal Coast in Atlantic Beach. Victor and I had a LOT of fun spending the day with this couple and their wonderful family and friends. Check out some of our favorites from the day!

Earlier this month we had the pleasure of joining Dan and Nicole for their big day at Carolina Colours Social Pavilion in New Bern, NC. Despite the rain and an accident on Hwy 70 that backed up traffic for miles, the skies cleared and the sun shined just as Dan and Nicole exchanged their vows. It was beautiful. Andrew & Emily’s charming, sweet Morehead City/Indian Beach wedding | North Carolina wedding photographer, Cynthia Rose Photography

This past Saturday Victor and I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Andrew and Emily’s wedding. The ceremony was held waterfront at The Haystacks in Morehead City. The weather forecast was luckily completely wrong, and this awesome couple had a bright, sunshiny day for their outdoor nuptials. The reception was held at the always-gorgeous Ocean Club in Indian Beach. Seriously one of my favorite venues!! Rachel Munro and Bridal By the Sea did a fan-tabulous job on the design and of course planning of the event. Working with them was amazing as usual!

I have to say that I was impressed and touched by how genuinely sweet this couple is. They are true North Carolinians - they were gracious hosts to their guests, offered up an authentic Carolina meal (just check out the photo of that…awesome!), and had everyone shagging to beach music all night long. Their kindness and southern charm is exactly why I love calling North Carolina home. And just wait till you see how GORGEOUS they are together! Adored everything about this wedding: the couple, their guests, Emily’s dress (!!!), and every pretty little detail. :) I hope you enjoy this set of “sneak preview” photos of their wedding as much as I do.

I love the fact that no one told her to stand like that, she just did it naturally!!

Yesterday we were fortunate enough to enjoy awesome weather (with maybe a bit of a breeze, haha!) for Brandon & Kristen’s nuptials in North Topsail Beach, NC. I absolutely loved this wedding. The bride, Kristen, is a striking beauty with her dark curly hair…and her dress was fabulous. Brandon was a handsome groom and they were both wonderful hosts of their beautiful rooftop wedding. Their sweet, emotional ceremony began just in time for an amazing North Carolina sunset. Brandon’s toast to his guests was a lovely tribute to family and coming together in celebration.
