Since Jenny & Shawn didn’t have a big wedding when they were first married, they decided to finally plan the wedding they never had…which resulted in a beautiful vow renewal at the Coral Bay Club in Atlantic Beach, NC and a ceremony that included their two gorgeous sons.  After surviving multiple deployments together and having two children, Jenny and Shawn were so deserving of this beautiful ceremony and party in honor of their marriage.  It was an amazing event to be a part of and I hope you enjoy these images from their day…

The Marine Corps wedding tradition…a sword detail.  The newlywed couple is stopped at the end, the bride is swatted on the butt and told “Welcome to the Marine Corps, ma’am!”  Though in Jenny’s case, she has already been a strong Marine Corps wife for years.

Yesterday Whitney and Kyle were wed in front of family and friends at the First Baptist Church in Morehead City, NC, with a reception that followed at the Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach, NC.  The bride was breathtaking, the venue was stunning, and the band was rockin’.  It was simply wonderful.  Whitney’s family was extremely strong throughout the entire event despite the absence of Whitney’s brother, who was still in the hospital following a heart transplant.  But thanks to Skype and a webcam, he was able to watch his sister get married live.  It was very touching…take a look…

“We do lip kisses because lipstick matches lipstick.”  Too funny.  :)
